Daffodils are covered by snow on Monday morning.

A spring snow fell over Texas County on Sunday night – with a promise that temperatures will rise Monday.

The National Weather Service said temperatures are expected to warm above freezing by mid-morning.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible beginning Tuesday as a storm system tracks to the east. No severe weather is expected, the weather service said.

More wintry precipitation is possible Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. Below freezing temperatures will be possible again Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
