The Community Betterment and Arts Council of Houston announced plans Friday to bring a stage production to Houston on April 9.
Organizers said the Star Dramatic Company of Willow Springs will perform Agatha Christie’s well-know murder mystery, “And Then There Were None,” at 7 p.m. on the community building stage on North U.S. 63.
Information and tickets are available at Landmark Bank, the TCMH Gift Shop and Room by Room Furniture, which also is providing some of the furniture used in the production. They also are available from community betterment members.
Since the demise of the Stained Glass Theatre location, the community has been without an area to hold this type of production, organizers said. The remodeling of the community building by the chamber has allowed the possibility of productions.
“If the community shows a renewed interest in this type of event, perhaps additional productions may be brought to Houston,” said Primrose Casey of the committee.
