A Houston man received two citations following an incident at a medical facility.

Mickey D. Brooks, 25, of 8124 Mineral Drive in Houston, was issued citations for peace disturbance and failure to obey after an incident at 12:34 a.m. Saturday in the Texas County Memorial Hospital emergency waiting room.

An officer was dispatched to the location regarding a domestic dispute there. Upon arrival, the officer observed Brooks yelling and cursing about his sister, who was also at the location.

The officer asked Brooks to step outside and then smelled alcohol on him. The officer told him to calm down and stop using profanity, but Brooks continued his tirade.

The officer then told Brooks he needed to call someone to come get him or he could be arrested for peace disturbance. Brooks refused.

After being handcuffed and placed in a patrol car, he continued his violent behavior, banging his head against the window and kicking, according to a report.

Brooks was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he continued to yell and curse. His court date is May 17.
