Texas County’s unemployment rate continued to drop in March, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
The figure was 9.1 percent, which was down four-tenths of a percentage point from February.
The average in south-central Missouri was 9.3 percent.
Area counties and their jobless rates were: Douglas, 8.7; Howell, 8.6; Shannon, 16.1; and Wright, 9.5.
