Texas County Sheriff’s Department officers Thursday evening located the body of a Houston man who had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Assisted by a group of citizens, authorities conducted a short search and found the body of Donald Jenkins, 48, of 503 Oak St. in Houston, at about 6:25 p.m. in a small stream near Ozark Baptist Church east of Houston.
