Elizabeth Jean Paschall, 76, of Springfield, Mo., passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
She was born June 22, 1934, in Independence, Mo., daughter of Albert and Evelyn Dimoush.
She married Raymond Paschall of Independence, Mo., in 1952. They lived in the Kansas City area until their retirement in 2000, when they move to Houston, Mo., to be closer to their daughter.
While living in Houston, she was an active member of St. Mark’s Catholic Parish. Jean was one of the founding members of the Houston branch of the Red Hat Society and served as its first queen mother. Paschall participated in a community woman’s card club and made many close friends while living in Houston.
In 2008, Jean and Ray moved to Springfield for reasons of health.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; her daughter, Sabrina; her son, Skip and wife, Charlene. Jean leaves behind her grandson, Collin; and her grandson, Justin and his wife, Tabi, and their children, Averie and Logan.
A family memorial will be held graveside in Independence, Mo., at a later date.
