A Licking man escaped injury Friday morning in a crash on I-44 in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Adam M. Jones, 22, of Marshfield, struck the rear of a 1999 Chevrolet 2500 operated by Dan A. Smith, 53, of Licking. Jones’ vehicle then sideswiped a 2012 International vehicle driven by Jeana D. Hallman, 32, of Fort Smith Ark., crossed the median and struck a guardrail before coming to rest.
Jones was taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan with serious injuries, according to a patrol report.
