A Raymondville man received moderate injuries Wednesday when his vehicle ran off U.S. 63 north of Licking and overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Doyle Smith, 69, was traveling northbound in a 2009 Ford F-150 when it ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and overturned in the roadway, said Tpr. Terry Nelson of the patrol. The vehicle then slide off the left side and overturned onto its wheels, he said.
Members of the Texas County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
Smith, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
Nelson said the vehicle was totaled.
