A Bucyrus woman called the Texas County Sheriff’s Department to report finding possible home made bombs at the Prairie Road residence of her father, who had died a few days earlier.
An investigating officer observed the components for making eight Molotov cocktails and several other powders for making explosives and cannon fuse.
The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was contacted and an agent arrived to assist with safe destruction of the items on the premises.
