An officer responded May 11 to Houston High School regarding a report of property damage.
The victim, a 16-year-old female student, showed the officer two “X” shaped marks on the passenger side of her 1999 Toyota Camry, one on the door and another on the rear fender.
The student stated she had not been quarreling with anyone, and she didn’t know who might have done it. There are no suspects.

May 14
Delores J. Rucker, 47, of 11096 Wye City Road in Success, was issued citations for DWI and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway after a traffic stop at about 2:20 a.m.
An officer observed the white Plymouth van Rucker was driving traveling down the center of Grand Avenue for about two city blocks. After making contact with her, the officer smelled alcohol and conducted field sobriety tests.
A passenger in Rucker’s vehicle was given a courtesy ride to a Chestnut Street residence by a Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputy.
May 16
Ivan A. Gale, 18, of 21931 Scenic Road in Summersville, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after he was observed attempting to shoplift a pair of work boots from the Houston Walmart.
The store’s asset protection employee stated that she saw Gale try on the boots and then put his own in the box from the new ones. Gale had been caught stealing CDs from Walmart a few years ago and was issued notification by store management that he is permanently banned from all Walmart locations, according to a report.
May 17
Rebecca D. Freeman, 29, of 9150 Splitlimb Road in Raymondville, was arrested on an active Wright county warrant for passing bad checks – less than $500 following a traffic stop at 12:55 p.m.
An officer observed that the blue 1997 Dodge van Freeman was driving northbound on U.S. 63 had expired license plates. A computer check revealed that she had the active warrant.
Freeman was taken to the Texas County Jail where she was unable to post the $250 cash-only bond.
May 18
Christal N. Spencer, 25, of 8453 Mineral Drive in Houston, was arrested for having four active City of Houston warrants.
At about 7 p.m., an officer observed a red Oldsmobile Alero with Arkansas plates parked at a residence at 605 Hawthorn St. in Houston. The officer recognized the car as belonging to Spencer and knew she had the warrants.
The warrants were for failed to stop, stealing under $500, speeding and careless and imprudent driving. Spencer was taken to the Texas County Jail where she was unable to post the total of $340 bail.
May 19
Candy Lynn Olson, 37, of 8205 Northview Lane #33 in Houston, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle after an officer observed expired temporary tags in the rear window of the maroon Ford Taurus she was driving northbound on U.S. 63 at about 4:30 p.m.
