A 20-year-old man from Licking was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday morning in Phelps County.
Cpl. Shawn Altermatt of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2002 Ford Mustang driven by Ryan M. O’Neil was traveling eastbound on Highway K about 10 miles west of Edgar Springs when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
O’Neil, who was wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to St. John’s in Springfield following the 7:45 a.m. accident. Altermatt said the vehicle was totaled.
