A three-night run of the Licking PRCA Rodeo begins Thursday.
Sponsored by the Licking Chamber of Commerce, the event begins at 8 o’clock nightly. Gates open at 6 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and those under 5 are free. Kids 11 and under are free when accompanied by an adult on Thursday and Friday. Parking is free.
Events each evening include: Calf roping, bareback, saddle bronc, team roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing and bull riding.
Thursday night is senior night with those older than 65 receiving half-price admission. Friday will recognize the military and those with an identification get in half price. There also is a goat scramble sponsored by Licking Livestock Auction. Saturday is a calf scramble is sponsored by Newkirk Auction.
Saturday also brings a multitude of activities to downtown Licking.
