Three people received drug and alcohol-related citations from the Houston Police Department as a result of an investigation at a Phelps Street residence May 6.
After an 11 a.m. report of a peace disturbance was received, an officer responded.
The officer observed several minors and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the house.
Bennie L. Thompson, 17, of 5395 Big Creek Road in Yukon, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christopher M. VanWagner, 27, of 309 Holt St. in Houston, was cited and charged with providing alcohol to minors, and James W. Dickens, 19, of 725 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
A 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl who were in the house were released to their parents.
