A woman from Licking was injured Thursday in a crash on Highway C.

A Licking woman was injured Thursday morning in a one-car accident one mile south of Maples on Highway C.

Sgt. Ronald Copelane of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Lanette M. Epstein, 29, of Licking, was northbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Epstein, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla by a Salem ambulance. Copelane said the vehicle was totaled.
