A Houston man escaped injury Saturday morning in a Simmons crash that injured an Indiana man.
Tpr. T.A. Gayer said a 2002 Hyundai Elantra driven northbound by Joshua M. Kessie, 28, of St. John, Ind., passed a northbound 1998 Dodge Ram pickup operated by Scott D. Hamilton, 42. Hamilton was attempting to a make a left turn when Kessie passed, Gayer said.
Kessie was transported with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Gayer said.
