A Houston man faces several charges following his arrest June 18 by Houston police.

Anthony J. Jones Sr., 50, of 16730 Highway B in Houston, was issued three citations after a traffic stop just before midnight.

A pair of officers observed Jones, who they knew had a revoked driver’s license, driving a red 2000 Chevrolet Blazer on Highway B.

After the police car’s emergency lights and siren were activated, Jones pulled over, but then pulled back onto the highway.

After Jones finally stopped on the side of the road, he exited the vehicle and was observed swaying and grabbing the door keep his balance. The officers requested conducting a field sobriety test, but Jones refused and told them to just take him to jail.

Jones was issued citations for DWI, driving while license revoked and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
