The annual meeting of Intercounty Electric Cooperative on Friday promises a bit of nostalgia as the association celebrates its 75th anniversary. A variety of activities are planned.

Registration runs from 8 a.m. until noon at the Licking City Park. Patrons are to bring the back cover of their registration book to pick up their registration gift and drawing ticket. The business meeting begins at 10 a.m.

A health fair organized by Texas County Memorial Hospital runs from 8 a.m. until noon. Several tests are offered. A multi-chem profile requires fasting beginning at 10 the previous night. Breakfast is available following the testing.

Hearing and eyesight examinations also are available.

Other activities:

-Kids’ tent: Register for bicycle drawings and a coloring contest. Pictures are available with a lineman in a bucket.

-Entertainment: The Ozarks Express performs.

-Prize drawings: Throughout the day, and a $750 electric credit given at 9:45 a.m.

-Lunch: Barbecue will be served around 11:30 a.m. following the business meeting.

-Ice cream: Directors will serve at 12:30 p.m.
