A Houston man was arrested June 16 on charges he stole a car audio amplifier from his sister's residence at Licking.

A 33-year-old Houston man was arrested June 16 by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department on charges of second degree residential burglary after being suspected of stealing a car audio amplifier from his sister’s Highway N residence in Licking.

The man reportedly sold the amplifier to his sister, but then kicked in the door of her home and stole it back.

In a separate report, an officer stated that the same man was arrested on June 14 after reportedly punching another man at the same Highway N residence.

The case was sent to the county prosecutor.
