A Plato woman was injured late Sunday night in a Laclede County crash as she attempted to miss a deer.

A Plato woman was injured late Sunday night in a crash about 18 miles east of Lebanon on Highway 32.

Tpr. Clay Marlin of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound 2008 Nissan driven by Julia D. Crampo, 19, attempted to avoid a deer, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Crampo, who received moderate injuries and was wearing a seat belt, was taken to St. John’s in Springfield.

Marlin said the vehicle was totaled.
