A Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputy reported he investigated an incident June 16 at a Bean Creek Road residence in Licking involving a 45-year-old woman who was bleeding from her head.
The officer stated that the woman told him two stories: she had injured her head in a fall and didn’t know how she had injured it.
Another woman at the scene reportedly told the officer that the injury occurred when a 62-year-old man there had pushed the woman to the ground.
