Three persons were injured early Wednesday in a crash south of Licking.

Three persons were injured early Wednesday in a crash about three miles south of Licking on Highway P, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The patrol said 1996 GMC driven eastbound by James M. Walker, 32, ran off the right side of the roadway at about 12:05 a.m. and struck an embankment. The driver, who refused medical treatment and was not wearing a seat belt, drove to his residence near Salem before reporting the accident. Two children, Cassie R. Walker, 5; and Ronald T. Walker, 6, both of Salem, sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Salem District Memorial Hospital.
