A cleanup along the Big Piney River starting at Dog’s Bluff west of Houston is Saturday.
Two groups, the Big Piney Watershed Committee and Top of The Ozarks Resource Conservation and Development, are planning the event. Registration is at 8 a.m.
Volunteers are to provide their own canoes. A dinner is planned at 5 p.m. at Emmett Kelly Park. Prize drawings will follow. Persons should bring a side dish or dessert.
