Fire departments are responding to a report of a house on West Highway 32 at Licking.
A man called to report he had been to town and returned to find the blaze, authorities said. The structure is west of Highway N.
Licking, Houston and Raymondville help are being sought.
Updated at 12:47 p.m. to add that a Herald reporter on the scene reports damage appears to be limited to the interior of the home.
