Man charged in hit-and-run in Houston

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called Saturday at about 7:35 p.m. to a hit-and-run incident on Highway AM, 1.5 miles west of Mountain Grove.

A Houston man faces charges following a hit-and-run incident in Houston.

Terry W. White, 27, of 204 Steffens St., in Houston, was issued a citation for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident after he reportedly struck a set of mailboxes on Oak Hill Drive in his maroon Ford Explorer.

A witness called in and gave a description of the offending vehicle, which led to White being cited.
