A man seen at a Houston-area trailer court was arrested by county officers on a probation violation.

A Raymondville man was arrested Thursday for a parole violation at a Highway E trailer park.

Two officers were investigating a burglary at the mobile home park, and when they were leaving they observed a small brown car pull in and recognized the driver as a 22-year-old man who they knew did not have a valid driver’s license.

The man was asked to approach the officers’ patrol car, but asked them to “hold on” while he finished his beer. He was advised that part of his probation was to not consume alcohol.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail for a probation violation and was to be issued a summons for driving without a valid license.
