Steven Lee Baitinger, 46, died Monday, June 27, 2011, in St. John’s Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1964, in Riverside, Calif., son of Richard Baitinger and Beverly Sears Chambers. He married Kathy Kelly.
He worked for Houston Wood Treating. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and building things. He loved horses and his dog, Sadie. His greatest joy was his children.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include two daughters, Amber Baitinger and Amanda Baitinger of Gilbert, Ariz.; two sons, Cody Baitinger of Riverside, Calif., and Christopher Cichon of Houston; his mother, Beverly J. Chambers of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Sherri Narez of Temple, Texas, and Barbara Laws of Moreno, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services were Friday, July 1, in Oak Dale Cemetery with Dr. Terry Snelling officiating. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
