Texas County deputies are investigating the theft of meat and several other items from a Summersville residence.

A 61-year-old Summersville woman said numerous items had been stolen from a building near her Harlow Road residence.

The woman stated that items stolen included three totes and various contents valued at $1,000, 110 pounds of sausage valued at $200, 325 pounds of pork valued at $500, 12 frozen turkeys valued at $300, and a toolbox and contents valued at $250.

The woman also said that many jars of canned goods had been stolen and that she knew of no suspects.
