A tractor-trailer unit overturned late Wednesday afternoon after it ran off Highway 17 south of Summersville and struck an embankment.
Cpl. Curtis Haden of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Neil E. Briley, 54, of Jackson, Tenn., was the southbound driver of the 2011 Freightliner that was totaled.
Briley, who had minor injuries and was wearing a seat belt, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View.
