Doyle W. Ice, 74, of Licking, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Cox Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born June 27, 1937, in Licking, son of Andy J. and Orba Lewis Ice. He and Helen Wrinkles were married March 19, 1971. He married Rita Smith in 1992. She died of cancer in 1997.
He worked in St. Louis, Rolla and St. Robert before returning to Licking to work at Rawlings Sporting Goods.
He was saved at a young age and attended Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Troy, Andy and Dewayne; three sisters, Lucille Hicks, Patsy and Bonnie Lou Ice.
Survivors include five grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Ice of Licking, Lynn Ice of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Lonnie Ice of Camdenton; and five sisters, Neville Cook, Ruthene Cook, Ida Jean Ice and Connie Keeney of Licking and Pauline Land of Jacksonville, Fla.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Dodson officiating.
