Etta Nora Holland Herin, 95, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Licking Park Manor.
She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Montauk, daughter of Albert Lee and Cora Frances Hensley Holland. She and Glen Craig were married in 1933. She later married Henry M. Herin in October 1953. He died in 2000.
She was converted at the age of 15 and baptized in the Current River near her home at Montauk. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She lived near Licking her entire life and retired from Rawlings, where she made baseballs and sports equipment.
She enjoyed camping and fishing at lakes and spending winters in Texas as long as her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents; a brother, Warren Holland; and a sister, Alma Thomason.
Survivors include three children, Robert Lloyd Craig of Belleville, Ill., Ruby Garrison of Denver, Colo., and Barbara Robinson of Maryland Heights; a stepdaughter, Emily Nelson of Licking; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a great-great grandson; and several other extended family and friends.
Services were Friday, Aug. 26, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Gifford officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery.
