A Houston woman faces charges following a stop by Houston police.
Christine L. Strong, 22, of 608 Ozark St. in Houston, was issued citations for DWI (drugs) and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway after a traffic stop at about 2 a.m. on Grand Avenue.
An officer made the stop after observing a blue Chevrolet Lumina Strong that was traveling northbound cross into the southbound lane and then swerve quickly back into the other lane.
The officer made contact with Strong and noticed her slumping over the center console and appearing incoherent. Several pill bottles containing various pills were observed in the car’s floorboards and more were found in Strong’s purse. She was released to her mother.
