A Plato woman was injured in a 2 a.m. wreck early Saturday, Aug. 6, on Highway 17.

A Plato woman faces charges following an early Saturday morning in Pulaski County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Jessika A. Flores, 22, was traveling on Highway 17 about four miles south of Summersville when her 2007 Mercury ran off the roadway and overturned before coming to rest.

Flores, who had moderate injuries, was taken by ambulance to a Fort Leonard Wood hospital. She is charged with DWI, first; and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident. She was later taken to the Pulaski County Jail and released.

Troopers said the vehicle was totaled.
