Beulah Mae Brawley, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at St. John’s Health Center in Springfield.
She was born May 8, 1928, near Arroll, daughter of Ervie and Thelma Mae Cox Woolsey. She and Dallas William Brawley were married March 18, 1952.
She loved caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Summersville for 55 years. She read her Bible and spent time in prayer daily.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dallas; her parents; and a brother, Hubert Woolsey.
Survivors include seven children, Junior Brawley, James Brawley, Brenda Wuertley and Linda Barnes of the Summersville area, Cheryl Clark of Montier, Randy Brawley of Mountain Grove and Ricky Brawley of Summersville; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edgar Woolsey of Pueblo, Colo.; and many other relatives.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 24, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Boyd and the Rev. Emmett Bradford officiating. Burial was in Flat Woods Cemetery.
