Billie Jean Wiseman, 75, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, in West Plains.
She was born Dec. 19, 1936, in Manes, daughter of Lum and Ada Cantrell. She and Roy Alonzo Wiseman were married July 19, 1955. He died April 19, 1982.
She was saved and baptized June 13, 1965, at Mason Bridge by the Rev. Ervin Morton.
She was a seamstress for 34 years at Rawlings Sporting Goods Factory before retiring.
She loved cooking meals, visiting friends, family and neighbors and her dog, Topper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mervin; and two sisters, Ollie Lawler and Louise Crecraft.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Friend; a son, Rick of Licking; three grandchildren; a sister, Bettie Legan of Springfield; a brother, Lex Cantrell of Houston; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Paul Jefries.
Services were Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Moore officiating.
