An effort is under way to restore the Vollmar Community Center, organizers said.
Alumni, friends and interested volunteers are sought for a workday, Sunday, Oct. 2.
Volunteers will sort through the building, haul, burn and clean beginning at 1 p.m.
It is hoped a piece of history will be brought back to life.
Monetary donations for new windows also are appreciated. Contributions are tax-deductible.
