A 47-year-old Licking man was arrested Oct. 21 at his Highway N residence on charges of tampering with a witness.
The arresting officer reported that the man had threatened a man and woman who had an assault case against him, telling them they had better drop the charges or he would hire and attorney to have their child taken away from them.
A report for tampering charges was sent to the county prosecutor.
