Christine Karin Boone

On Jan. 2, 1962, Christine Karin Boone was born to Bruno and Hildegard Milz in Mainz, Germany. She passed away Oct. 11, 2011, at the age of 49.

She would continue to live in Germany for many years until she moved to the United States with her first husband, who was enlisted in the military. To this marriage a daughter, Jessica, was born in 1983. Although this marriage would end in divorce, she found happiness again in 1994 when she married Chuck Boone Senior. In 1996, their son, Jonathan Boone was born. His birth would change Christine’s life forever.

She was his nurse, teacher, and above all, mother. She would push and challenge him to do things nobody ever thought he would do. In 2006, she cried tears of joy when she watched her daughter graduate from college and later marry. One short year later, she would become Nana to her beloved grandson, Clinton “Smunchkin” Smith. They would spend many days playing prince and princess in the pool. In 2008, she watched her stepson, Chuck Junior, marry Danielle and again had tears of joy.

Her biggest joys in life were her daughter, son, and grandson. She lived for each of them and would have done anything for them. She looked forward to her daily talks with Jessica, while she drank her morning coffee. She enjoyed being teased by her son-in-law Dennis and listening to her stepson Chuck’s hunting stories. She laughed at Jessica and her daughter-in-law Danielle for always changing their hair, and joked that she could never keep up!

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers, a brother-in-law and father-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Boone Senior; their son, Jonathon Boone; her daughter, Jessica (Leatherman) Smith and husband, Dennis; stepson, Chuck Boone Junior and wife Danielle; and her precious grandson, Clinton “Smunchkin” Smith. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother.

Christine’s life was taken tragically, but this should not define her life. She is now a star shining bright in the sky and will forever be in our hearts.

The family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Jonathan Boone Memorial Fund, in lieu of floral arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansfh.com.
