Members of the Houston board of education acted on a trio of items at its meeting on Monday:
–A motion to create a stipend for Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsorship that was tabled last month was rescinded.
–Approved an agreement which can be used to contract for services with companies to provide supplemental educational services. Several revisions to the proposed agreement were included in the motion to approve.
–The board reviewed current wording of a policy that does not allow non-curricular student groups to meet on school grounds and directed administration to prepare revisions in the policy for consideration at the November meeting.
