A Houston woman called county officers Sept. 29 to report that her two dogs had been poisoned at her Brown Hill residence.
An investigating officer observed a beagle and a poodle both visibly shaking. The woman said her neighbor might have poisoned them.
The woman took the dogs to a vet, and they are reportedly fine now. The vet stated there was no way to know what the dogs had gotten into, but they appeared to have some kind of medication intoxication.
