Carl Eugene “Junior” Nevills Jr., 56, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, following heart problems.
He was born Nov. 25, 1954, in Union, son of Carl Sr. and Gladys Hahn Nevills.
He grew up in Missouri and worked as a chef and truck driver.
He enjoyed going to church and visiting with his family, especially his dad. He loved to cook and camp, ride horses and do “scratch offs.” He also enjoyed mowing the yard and gathering scrap metals.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Lynn Tripp Nevills; his mother, Gladys; his father, Carl Sr.; seven siblings, Marvin, Marney, August, Mary, Gary, Robert and Jeannette; four children, Michelle, Eugene, Sherry and Randy; two stepchildren, Tabitha and James; and many other family members.
Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, in C.T. Smith Cemetery with Bro. Bob Troutt will officiating. Burial will be in C.T. Smith Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
