Chastadie “Chas” Nicole Sullins, 28, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2011, at St. Johns Hospital.
She was born Aug. 10, 1983, in Springfield.
She was raised in her hometown of Houston and made many friends during her school years. She graduated with the class of 2002. After high school, she furthered her education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Drury University, Jefferson College, Rend Lake College and Phoenix University.
She dreamed of becoming a chef and owning and operating a restaurant. She was employed as a nanny for her best friend.
She enjoyed reading, writing, watching movies, attending classes at college, shopping, researching her ancestry, supernatural things, planning holiday festivities, cooking, spending time with her loved ones and caring for “her babies.”
She was preceded in death by her stepfather and several relatives and close friends.
Survivors include her mother, Judy Fretueg; a brother, Corey Fretueg; a sister, Tiffany Fretueg; many nieces and nephews; two special friends, Ashley Sudheimer and Angela Mendenhall; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Emery Cemetery with Russell Kane officiating. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
