A new church in Houston will be dedicated Saturday, officials announced.
The Houston Seventh-day Adventist Church will be dedicated beginning at 2 p.m. on Airport Road. Officials from the Iowa-Missouri SDA Conference will speak.
The 110 foot by 50 foot structure is south of Hawthorn Avenue. A groundbreaking ceremony was in February on the seven-acre site.
Paul Fulton of Salem was the contractor for the building, which includes a 2,500 square foot sanctuary that can seat about 125. Also included are three classrooms and fellowship hall. The exterior of the building includes steel siding and a metal roof.
