Raymondville hosted a basketball tournament last week featuring teams from Success, Gasconade and Manes.
Gasconade defeated Raymondville 20-17 in the third-place game. Success defeated Manes 27-25 in the championship game.
“What an exciting final night of the tournament,” Raymondville coach Charlie Malam said. “Both games came down to the buzzer. Everyone should be proud of the efforts of all teams in this year’s tournament.”
On the opening night, Success beat Gasconade 47-11 and Manes defeated Raymondville 30-10. The next night, Manes beat Gascondade 30-14 and Success defeated Raymondville 44-6.
