Twenty-seven arrests were made and 40 warnings issued Friday at a DWI saturation in Texas County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the designated highways were U.S. 60, U.S. 63, Missouri Business 60 and Highway MM.

Totals included:

–Two DWI arrests.

–One other felony arrest.

–Nine seat belt summonses.

–One no driver’s license summons.

–Two uninsured motorist summonses.

–Two other hazardous moving violation summonses.

–Five non-moving violation summonses.

–Four misdemeanor drug arrests.

–One other misdemeanor arrest.

“The motoring public has been very supportive of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s efforts to make our roads safer through the use of sobriety checkpoints and special enforcement operations,” said Dwayne F. Isringhausen, captain of Troop G. “Nobody wants to share the road with a drunk, drugged, or otherwise unsafe driver. Please do your part by driving safely.”
