Nathan Poynter scored 14 points and Skylur Malam had 11 to lead the Houston eighth grade boys past Licking 40-28 Tuesday night.
Keegan Spurlin and Cody Hayes scored four points apiece for the Tigers, who had a 26-14 advantage in the second and third quarters.
The Houston seventh grade boys lost.
