The Houston eighth-grade boys beat St. James 39-25 Thursday for the team’s sixth victory in seven games.
Skylur Malam led the Tigers (8-6) with 12 points. Keegan Spurlin scored seven points, and Cody Hayes and Austin Schock had six points apiece.
Houston hosts Licking tonight in the season finale.
SEVENTH GRADE: Lucas Kelley had a team-best six points in a 52-8 loss Thursday to St. James. Riley Caveness had two points.
