Four citizens have filed for slots on the Houston school board.
Incumbent Steve Pounds, Tadd McCloud, James Bathon and Jim Root have filed for two available positions. Slots held by Pounds and Kathy Hutcheson expire this year.
Filings began Tuesday. The deadline to file is 5 p.m. Jan. 17.
Terms held by Joyce Campbell, Joe Honeycutt and Don Romines expire on the Houston City Council.
The term of Jane Kirkwood expires on the TCMH board.
