Houston junior Alexa Ichord, left, battles for a first-half rebound.

Freshman Kylee Elmore scored a career-best 15 points and Amber Sillyman added 12 to lead the Houston Lady Tigers past Stoutland 56-34 Thursday night inside Hiett Gymnasium.

It was the first victory of the season for Houston (1-2), which scored 15 of the game’s first 17 points and led 32-17 at the half.
