A pedestrian was struck late Monday in an accident on South Sam Houston Blvd., Houston police are reporting.
Authorities said Doris Kay Pierce of Houston was struck on the southbound shoulder at the entrance to Corner Express.
Pierce, who sustained injuries, was taken to TCMH and later transferred to a Springfield hospital, police say. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
