Forrest Robert “Bob” Malam, 76, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at his home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1935, in St. Joseph, son of Chester and Goldie Bunten Malam. He and Delores Mary Walker were married May 29, 1959.
He served in the Army. He worked as a mechanic and later worked for Rees Oil as a propane delivery driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruth Ann Boles; and two brothers, Gene and Richard Malam.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Delores; three children, Lori Malam, Ron Malam and Larry Malam; a granddaughter; a sister, Betty Draper; two brothers, Bill and George; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Friday, Jan. 20, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Flint officiating. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
